We are so heartily sorry that your baby or child has died. At 4Louis, we understand how devastating and traumatic this can be as we have all been through a similar experience ourselves.

We know that everyone grieves differently and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Each person needs different types of support and this can change over time.

How We offer support

When a baby dies bereaved parents can feel very isolated. They don’t usually know anyone else who has had a similar experience. Support from family and friends can sometimes fall away soon after a baby has died.

4Louis offer support to families through the following ways

Memory Boxes

4Louis Memory Boxes are a place for parents and families to create and keep memories of their baby or child and are gifted free of charge.

Group Craft Days

Many family’s feel that only others who have experienced the death of a baby or child can offer real understanding of their pain, our group craft days run from our workshop in Washington, Tyne & Wear where families are welcome Monday to Friday to join us for a cuppa and biscuits while helping to make our memory boxes up. We can accommodate groups of upto 25 (For Personal craft days, family only please contact us to organise a suitable date)

Personal Support

We are not qualified Councillors, but what we do have is compassion, empathy and experience and are available to chat either over the phone, email, or face to face.
