Welcome to our 4Louis You Rock! campaign, where we provide you with the perfect opportunity to express your gratitude towards the healthcare professionals who have made a positive impact on your life and care. We understand that it can be challenging to express your appreciation towards those who have gone above and beyond for you, and that's why we're here to help!
Our campaign is simple yet effective. All you have to do is complete the form below with the healthcare professional's name, ward, and hospital. Then, in a few words, tell us why you want to thank them and how they have made a difference in your life. It's that easy!
Every month, one lucky healthcare professional will be chosen to receive a special 4Louis You Rock! Thank you pack. This pack is a token of our appreciation towards the healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to provide us with the best care possible. We want to make sure that they know how much we appreciate them!
At 4Louis, we believe that your nomination should have a lasting impact. Therefore, if your nnominated person doesn’t win in a particular month, don't worry! Your nomination will automatically roll over to the next month, giving you another chance to show your appreciation towards your healthcare professional.
We understand how much healthcare professionals mean to us, and we want to give back in any way possible. So, why not take a few minutes out of your day to nominate someone who has made a difference in your life? It's the perfect way to say thank you!
Well done to Hannah Parker, Delivery Suite Warrington Hospital.
"Hannah was our named Bereavement Midwife after our son was stillborn in April 2023 and provided invaluable support during these 6.5months. Helping validate any feelings we were having about the situation and guiding us with our sons service, as well as towards resources for counselling and other support.
She has also been a massive support since we got pregnant with our rainbow baby, chasing appointments and ensuring we are fully supported by everyone involved in our care.
A community midwife told us that Hannah provides training on how to support bereaved parents too.
We would truly be lost without her and she deserves to be recognised for this." Sharon White
Well Done Lisa Wilson, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Mortuary
"Lisa works effortlessly, she looked after my son leading up the days to his funeral, she always greets you with a warm hug and smile. My daughter was too young to meet her brother and got upset to Lisa gave her a teddy in return to explain why. Lisa has helped me grieve for my son and gave me so much when I had nothing to bring home. "
Well done Louise HEath, Bereavement Midwife, Kingsmill Hospital
"Louise supported us through the loss of our son Noah born sleeping 5th July 21. She was the light at the end of the tunnel for us, she would come check on us at home, call, text just to check in. She does this to all her families. She helped make precious memories with Noah. Louise is apart of our family now. She supported is through a very High anxiety filled pregnancy with our Rainbow baby. She organised and helps at the rainbow clinic that they run at the hospital, she attended appointments with you so she can help take things in and explain them after because sometimes our minds arnt fully there at appointments and miss things.
She was there at the birth of my daughter, she came in on her day off especially to support us through it. She was there was our baby got admitted at 5 days old due to jaundice and asked questions we couldn't even think off due to being distressed. "
Well done to Madeleine Parks, Chaplaincy, Russell's Hall Hospital
"I would like to nominate Maddy because she goes above and beyond for every single person who walks through those hospital doors, myself included. if it wasnt for Maddy I wouldn't be here today. The support she has given me since loosing my baby boy (and during) has been outstanding and I will forever be grateful."
Well done to Jamie Renilson, Maternity Services, Sunderland Royal Hospital.
" You are the most wonderful person I know. Thank you isn't enough.
I'm not the easiest person to look after but you do it with grace and respect. You are always honest with me which I really appreciate and I know i can always be honest with you, without fear of judgement. I've seen you run yourself into the ground, stand in front of patients and you have been so ill I've wondered which of us needed the bed more.
You never take compliments well just brush them off as 'doing your job' but you 'doing your job' saves people. It certainly saved me.
You are an inspiration and I know I am not the only one who thinks this. You deserve the highest of praise and while this may not make the most sense (I'm struggling to remember my own name right now) I hope you know what you mean to our family."
Well done to Rebecca Crook, Leiecester Maternity Services, Leicester General Maternity Unit.
" When I first met Becki, shortly after our son Freddie was born, I didn't know then how much of an impact she would have on our lives. Looking back now to the shell of a person I was then I am so grateful she was there. She quickly arranged for a Cuddle Cot and took care of all necessary paperwork so we were able to leave the hospital and take Freddie home. I was mostly oblivious to this at the time but she immediately understood the need for me to be able to leave and take my baby home to grieve, away from the trauma. Since that day she has regularly checked in on me as my bereavement midwife and I honestly don't think I could have got through those first few weeks without her. Her kindness, encouragement, guidance and care at every point has been faultless. I've cried on the phone to her for hours, texted her in the middle of the night when I was worried about postpartum symptoms and more recently been able to ask her for advice on TTC again. The work of a bereavement midwife must be really tough, but is so valuable. Becki even went above and beyond that. She has been like a guardian angel watching over me when I needed it most, helping me navigate through a situation no one should experience. I will be eternally grateful she came into our lives when we lost Freddie. Sometimes I think maybe he sent her, knowing she would look after his mummy. "
Well done to Kerry Newton, NICU John Radcliffe Hospital
" Kerry has been an absolute diamond. Since losing my baby girl nearly 2 years ago Kerry has kept in touch checking to see how I'm doing and helping me get further help and support. She's been the only person who has kept in touch. Kerry is an amazing lady and it would mean the world to me if she won. "
Well done to Lesley Roe, Countess of Chester Maternity Ward
" Lesley has been the most incredible support to myself and my partner since losing our son Jackson at one hour old in January. She advocates for us continuously and got us the answers we deserved during the PMRT. Although the circumstances we met in aren’t great I am glad I have met Lesley and hope to stay in contact for years to come. The best Bereavment midwife we could have asked for!"
Well done to Marie Kelleher, Liverpool woman's
"Marie constantly goes above and beyond to support bereaved families across Merseyside. She is so supportive in what is an extremely difficult and emotional time for bereaved families and helps you see there is light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark it seems."
Well done to Toni Newlove, Scunthorpe delivery suite
" Toni is absolutely amazing in her role as bereavement midwife for NLaG Trust. Not only does she provide exceptional care to all the families affected by loss, she makes so much time for student midwives and also core midwives who wish to become bereavement champions. She single handedly works across Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Goole and Louth hospitals and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. She is inspirational in the work she does and is truly passionate about making a difference to the lives of people who are touched by baby loss "
Well done to Lyndsey Simmons, Delivery Suite The Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
"Lyndsey was by our side throughout Lilly’s delivery and afterwards and treated her with so much care and respect.
She captured photos, took a lock of her hair, her hand and footprints (using a 4Louis Memory Box) and organised a baptism for her. We will be forever grateful xx" Jill Boydell
Well done to Hannah Silbey, Delivery Suite The Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
"Hannah supported my sister and brother in law through the unexpected loss of my beautiful niece Lilly. She was so kind and supportive to them both, but also incredibly supportive to me, who was there to support them during their time at the RVI.
The way she cared for us all was so compassionate and caring, but the way she treat Lilly, how she spoke to her and held her and still cared for was so special to our family, and I know made a terribly sad situation, just that little bit easier for my sister and for that i’ll be forever grateful to her" Melanie Crawford
Well done to Adele, Childrens A&E, Sunderland Royal hospital
"The love and care Adele showed to myself, my partner and both our families the day of loosing our son was impeccable. From one nurse to another nurse I can now sit back and reflect on the amazing care she gave us all on the worse day of our lives" Shana Elizabeth

Well done to Gemma Davis, Ysbyty Glan Clywd Delivery Suite
"I would like to nominate Gemma, without her I would have never got through the awful night when they couldn’t find my daughter Aria Hope’s heartbeat. She stayed with me all night, talked, made me laugh and answered anything and everything I needed to know when I needed it without even being asked. She carried on our care and was the first person to dress our little girl. She truly was our shining light in a very dark time. We would have been lost without her and we can never thank her enough."
Well done to Sarah Lake, Forget me not suit, UHNM Stoke
"I would like to nominate Sarah, without Sarah I wouldn't be where I am today. From the minute she came to support us at the hospital she made everything easy, I felt safe leaving our twins with her and that she would do as I asked and read to them when we had gone. Then from that day forward she has supported me, 6 years on she runs an amazing support group which has been a lifeline and goes above and beyond to support not just me but lots of families in Stoke. She's absolutely amazing and could never put I to words how grateful I am for her amazing support. "
Well done to Tracy Howard, Gloucester Royal, Maternity ward
"I would love to nominate my amazing midwife Tracy Howard from Gloucester Royal.
Tracy went above and beyond on the worst day of our lives and 8yrs down the line she is still SO supportive. Tracy must of just started her shift when we walked into the hospital and she never left my side. She even came to theatre with me when I had issues after my baby boy was born.
To this day Tracy and her husband attend every event we hold to raise money for 4louis. She was my rock and one in a million "
Well done to Claire Braithwaite, Royal Preston Hospital, Bereavement Midwife
"Claire was our bereavement midwife after we lost our daughter Evie in September 2021. Claire was so supportive going above and beyond helping us every step of the way. We fell pregnant with our rainbow in February 2022 and and Claire was there walking the journey with us every step of the way. She ran the rainbow clinic at Chorley and was always on hand to provide support. We genuinely could not have got through our PALs journey without her. Claire continues to play a big role in our lives, sending us messages on Evie’s birthday and checking in on our rainbow baby. We are so grateful to have had Claire walk beside us right through from losing Evie to bringing our rainbow baby home. "
Well done to Annabel Maria, Basildon Hospital
"What an amazing, wonderful, kind and caring person. Definitely one of the best . I cannot thank her enough for the care and kindness she gave my daughter Chloe and her partner Mitchell , and for the care she showed to me and my family during the worst days we could have ever imagined … loosing our dear Luna was so heartbreaking that the kindness Annabel gave us just helped Chloe’s stay in hospital so much .. Annabel goes above and beyond. Thank you xxx 💖"
Well done to Kelly Heaton, Leighton Hospital, Labour ward
"Kelly is my bereavement midwife and has looked after me in the antenatal clinic right through until now where her care is ongoing.
My son was diagnosed with anencephaly at our 12 week scan in Oct 22, I met Kelly a short while after and she has been an incredible support to me. She looked after me in hospital when our son Lenny was stillborn in January and has had weekly check-ins with me since. She really is incredible and I am so so grateful our paths crossed. Not only has her care for me been incredible but she helped to look after Lenny when he was born sleeping and along with another of my incredible midwives, took some amazing pictures along with hand and feet prints that we will treasure forever. "

Well done to Carley Oliver, Queen Elizabeth Gateshead, SCBU
"I would like to nominate Carly Oliver for her outstanding dedication, care and support she gave to my grandson Vinny and his parents Ryan & Shana. She went above and beyond in her duties, staying behind several hours after her shift had come to end to give support to our family and see that Vinny was ok to be moved to James Cook hospital. Her diligence, dedication, warm friendly bubbly personality and assiduous attitude undoubtedly saved the life of my grandson. The situation was extremely difficult to deal with as it was almost the first anniversary when we lost our precious first grandson Luca Thomas Murphy, Carley showed great compassion and understanding to Ryan, Shana and family during this extremely difficult time. Thank you 🙏 "
"Thank you for everything you do on the special care unit at the qe hospital. Yourself and your team are amazing."
