The care that bereaved parents receive in hospital following the death of their baby is crucial. These experiences may be remembered by parents for the rest of their lives, and bad experiences are likely to exacerbate feelings of pain and grief for bereaved parents, potentially for many years to come. 4Louis want to support the right care being received to bereaved families.

We know that small details can mean a great deal to recently bereaved parents, and the environment in which they are cared for makes a difference. Dedicated bereavement suites are a necessity to ensure that families receive care that best suits their needs. 

We have worked with various hospitals across the UK to support with funding for bereavement suites and family rooms. As well as providing cuddle cots and memory boxes to bereaved families. We ensure each suite meets the hospital requirements whilst maintaining a "home from home" feel as much as possible.
